Pomegranates, bright colors, powerful costumes, and identity are just some of the charateristics that stand out when looking at the works of Siramark Handmades.
The artist behind Siramark Handmades is Silva Melkonian.
Silva is a graduate of the International Academy of Design in Montreal. She specializes in sculpted wire trees, semi-precious jewelry, fancy rosaries and unique bookmarks.
With detail and precision, she enjoys blending old and new styles by using crystals and stones. All of her pieces are unique.
She's previously designed theatrical costumes and even produced a musical play where she told the history of Armenia through the display of her costume creations.
"My creativity takes wings to fly to the mysterious folds of shapes and colors, to the endless sides of the universe and my homeland that will always reflect through my work."
Here are some examples of her work. You can also find some of her pieces in our shop.
You can follow her work on facebook or instagram and shop on her Etsy page.
Stay tuned to learn about the next artist in the Aghpur community!
